CASCO DE TRACCION ANCLAJE TEMPORAL CON MEDIDOR
The anchors have been designed with a double objective: on the one hand, to provide the doctor with a product of the highest quality that produces optimal results and, on the other, to facilitate their use by the patient. This, together with its attractive presentation, are two very important aspects to achieve maximum motivation during treatment.
Three aspects have been taken into special care in its design: robustness, reliability of the anchor and comfort of use for the patient.
This anchor does not deform like others and acquires the ideal position quickly, without misalignments or folds that hinder the correct direction and force applicable.
According to EU regulations, there is a potential risk in extraoral force anchors that use elastic bands and do not have safety systems. This refers especially to cervical anchors used in combination with the facial arch. Due to misuse by the patient, when removing the facial arch that is attached to the extraoral anchorage, he can slip it in front of the face, creating a risk, especially at eye level. To prevent this, two safety systems have been devised:
- Stroke limiter: this system is based on the impossibility for the child to remove the facial arch by sliding it in front of the face without first removing the cervical anchorage strap. The travel is limited to 2.5 cm., which makes it impossible to misuse this device and reduces the risks inherent to it.
- Device breakage: If the patient forces the device to remove the anchor without detaching the handle, the mechanism breaks, preventing it from being misused.
