Designed so that the spring rests on the wing of the labial surface of the bracket. Its unique design allows the spring to be inserted by gingival or incisal, which provides an option to adapt the lever arm and avoid interference with the intermaxillary hook or adjacent springs. Insertion by incisal is preferable to avoid distortion of the spring by occlusal forces. Available with long or short vertical ends. The lengths need bending or cutting. Attach the bracket to the arch with an elastomeric ring before placing the spring. To determine which spring is required, examine the tooth by labial and observe in which direction you need to move the hour or anti-clockwise crown.
