The air spray makes a significant contribution to creating aerosols in dental instruments. Contra-angle handpieces produce much less haze compared to turbines and by changing the air spray in these instruments even less aerosol is generated. This means that the associated risks are greatly reduced.

NSK has invented the system for changing the type of air spray of the rotary instrumentation.

Easy On/Off Spray Switching: Switch in an instant between water jet (water only) and water spray (water and air mist).
